报告简介:
Diagnostic measurement based on the cognitive diagnosis models (CDMs) is increasingly popular in educational and psychological testing. It aims to diagnose examinees’ attribute profile on a finer grain size and is criterion-referenced, capable of informing the absolute standing of the respondents with regard to external criteria. Polytomous responses such as partial credit or Likert scale are widely available in social and behavioral settings. This research extends the general polytomous diagnosis model (GPDM) to address polytomous responses for maximal performance (e.g. partial credit) or typical performance (e.g. Likert or rating scale) more effectively. For maximal performance reduced models under the dichotomous context can be extended to polytomous responses to address the compensatory or conjunctive relationships. For typical performance, three new models are proposed, which can provide more meaningful parameters for the Likert or rating scales. With these developments, diagnostic measurement is ready for a wide range of applications across various educational and psychological settings.
